Katie Stoehr

Katie Stoehr is a senior consultant and project manager. She recently analyzed the causes of attrition in a major child welfare agency. She consulted previously with the Allegheny County Department of Human Services, leading a variety of child welfare projects. For several years, she was an employee of NYC ACS, rising to the position of Assistant Commissioner for Program Policy and Development, where she worked on protective, preventive, foster care, supervisory improvement and other matters. She was an executive with Graham Windham and worked with Catholic Guardian Society and the Association to Benefit Children. Katie has experience with evidence-based or informed child welfare practices including Homebuilders, Solution-Based Casework, Multi-Dimensional Treatment Foster Care, Team Decision-making, and Sobriety, Treatment and Recovery Teams (START). She was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Russia. Katie earned her BA in Politics and Philosophy from University of Pittsburgh and a master of public administration from Columbia University.
